Born from a shared reverence for heritage, hospitality, and Texas craftsmanship, this limited-edition collection marks a milestone for Fraulein with our first-ever men’s boot, Otto, and a new women’s silhouette, Emma. Each design draws inspiration from Hotel Emma’s storied history, its hacienda-chic interiors, and the cultural tapestry of San Antonio’s Pearl district. Thoughtful details echo the textures, warmth, and timeless elegance that earned Hotel Emma its two Michelin Keys—a distinction that celebrates the hotel’s commitment to excellence.
The collaboration also holds a special place in our hearts: Curio was one of our very first wholesale partners, and our relationship with the Hotel Emma team is one we cherish. Curio’s intimate, jewel-box setting, filled with treasures curated with heart, has long reflected the same spirit of craftsmanship and intention that guides our work. Otto Koehler was Emma’s partner and counterpart in the Hotel Emma story. The Otto, our first men’s boot, marks a new chapter for us — one that honors where we’ve been while stepping boldly into what’s next.
